Supporting Local Business Is Supporting Your Community

At Bright Eyes Family Vision, we are passionate about giving back to our community. We love our Pingree Grove and Hampshire area family and take it as part of our duty as members of this community to spread positivity and to help when and where we can. We have collected a few local and worldwide outreach programs that we’re excited to tell you about.

  • Donate for a Discount: Every November we collect donations for a food pantry in our area and offer a discount in our optical for the patients who contribute. Our wonderful staff, not only brings in their own donations, but drops off what we have collected through the month to the food pantry. Last year, we helped out the fine people and patrons of the D300 Food Pantry.

  • Cambridge Lakes Charter School: Education is important so we enjoy supporting our local schools’ events, such as the CLCS Annual Fun Fair! This event raises money for resources, such as new technology and supplies, for your local students and teachers. Look for our logo at this fundraising event.

  • St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School: From fundraisers to educational talks with classes, we love visiting St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School in town! Look for us as a sponsor at events.

  • Cambridge Lakes Community Events: We’re lucky to have such an active community of people so close to our office. We’re proud sponsors of events such as the Summer Concert, Zombie Run, and Holiday Hoopla.

  • Coon Creek Country Days: We love a good festival, and Coon Creek Country Days is one of the biggest around! It is our pleasure to be part of this celebration by sponsoring the event and seeing all of our friends while we walk in the parade!

  • Village of Pingree Grove: You’ll see us around town at all the Pingree Grove events! Come say “Hi!” at the Christmas Tree Lighting or stop us as we walk the route or the Independence Day parade! We normally have some goodies to pass out so make sure to get yours!

  • Hampshire Park District: Parks and libraries are important for community building. Take advantage of their sponsor-funded events, such as the 70th Anniversary Party and Coon Creek Classic Race!

  • VSP Global: We are participants in a worldwide initiative to end preventable blindness by making glasses more accessible to people in developing countries. Together with VSP and our lovely patients, we collect and refurbish your old glasses so that someone in a disadvantaged country can use them to thrive. If you wish to donate your old frames and lenses, pop by and speak to our opticians!

  • Bausch & Lomb Contact Lens Recycling Program: Did you know that over 50,000 pounds of contact lens plastics end up in our waters every year? In our office, we offer a program to decrease that number by recycling! If you have old lenses or packaging, we have a special collection box to drop it off at! By utilizing this box for not only office but patient use, we can make a positive change for our planet.

Although this list is not fully exhaustive, we hope our community can see our passion for giving back, but we couldn’t do that without your support of local businesses. When you purchase your glasses and contacts from us, you can feel confident both in the quality of your products and the goodwill it will bring to your neighbors.
