I hope you are all doing well during these trying times. It has certainly been disheartening to have the office closed the past couple weeks but we fully support flattening the curve and keeping our staff and our community healthy. I have continued to monitor our local situation and have decided to extend our office closure through April 30.
I want to thank all of you who have reached out to offer your support to us through your kind words or through choosing to purchase your contacts through us. Your support means the world to us as we go through this financially difficult period. While the physical office remains closed, we are still available to help you with urgent eye care needs or contact lens orders.
I’m excited to announce our telehealth service now available for our established patients throughout the duration of the shelter in place order. These visits are billable through your medical insurance, although copays and deductibles still apply. This service is not available for routine care, like glasses and contact lens exams.
If you need to get in contact with the office for non-urgent matters, you can still call our regular number at 224-569-1001. For urgent eye care concerns, please call or text 847-893-9522.
